OH MY! You poor cherub, finding your pet doggy was actually a Tasmanian Tiger and discovering Bunnykins was DINNER! You shouldn't have been hiding pets in the cupboards like that ...
OHH Haha close ;) I thought your (very well drawn) Simpkin looked more cat like, but a Tasmanian Tiger is more dog-like with catty features... Did you scream and make your Sister fall out of bed?
I had a cat once who used to catch jackrabbits on a regular basis. Thankfully, he was not a housecat, so he didn't drag them inside the house to eat them.

Doggy? My drawing is that bad? It was actually Simpkin the cat. who had dragged it in the window and over my sleeping sister.
But the sound of the crunching was tiger-like.
LOL. That is truly a discovery the kid will never forget! I had a similar experience with a cat and a rat. I've never forgotten it either.

I couldn't move or do anything...

Yes. And the darn thing does look like a dog; but whatever it was, it turned into a tiger--possibly Tasmanian. I don't know.
Oooh what a way to wake up and make such a discovery!
Ouch...has an old style feel to this...but I didn't know cats would attack big rabbits like that...
oh god. until i read the comments, i assumed the rabbit had been a pet.
either way, it had to have been traumatic. the image reads that way to me.
